David Singer, Publisher

Since March 2004, David has been Publisher of the only true Christian Newspaper in the Valley. With the help of David's God-given gift of entrepreneurship, GPCC has been blessed with growth over the years. He is also the President of Diamond Media, a media placement company, and he Partners in two other businesses: Netvesta Inc. and 3in1 Trinity Athletic Footwear. David graduated from Arizona State University in 1983.

Floyd Allen, Staff Writer


Floyd has been a staff writer for nearly a year. As well as his literary efforts with AFN, he is also a freelance writer, having written hundreds of magazine articles, and a novelist. Most recently Floyd has become the Editor/Marketing Director of Morgan Wynn Publishing, a local publisher who specializes in working with Christian Authors to help get their books in print. He has attended Paradise Hills Assembly of God for over twenty-seven years, having taught an Adult Sunday School class the whole time, and currently serves on the Board of Deacons as well. A long time Christian Educator, he is currently as an Adjunct Faculty member at American Indian College. Married to Clarissa since 1972, they have three adult children and six grandchildren.

Dr. James Laine, Regular Contributor

Dr. James A. Laine is Pastoral Counselor, teacher, and author. He is currently the Director of Desert Rock Christian Counseling. He holds a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Counseling, a second Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology, and a doctorate in Theology. He is Board Certified in Marriage and Family Therapy, Sex Therapy, Addiction and Substance Abuse and in Domestic Violence. Dr. Laine also serves as mentor to Pastoral Counseling students. Rabbi Harlon Picker, Regular Contributor

Harlon Picker is a Messianic Rabbi and the Senior Congregational Leader of the Beth Yachad Community of Messianic Synagogues in Phoenix, Arizona. Harlon comes from a line of Orthodox Jewish Rabbis, but he found his Messiah, Yeshua (Jesus), in 1983. Beth Yachad, which is Hebrew for House of Unity, reaches out to Jews and Gentiles (non-Jews) with the Good News that Yeshua is the promised Messiah of Israel! Their services mix Jewish tradition with Davidic Praise, Worship, and Dance to bring a Spirit-filled explosion of God's love for all His people, Jews and Gentiles. Harlon speaks at churches and organizations around the country about the Hebraic Roots of the Christian Faith.

A graduate of Southwestern College in 2003, Wendie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in English.
